About Me

Emma Claire is a multifaceted artist based in Chicago IL, with a vast range of artistic abilities. She is currently earning a BFA in fashion design with a minor in video production at Columbia College Chicago. In her main focus of fashion design, she designs clothing for people who are in constant movement. In 2023 she was a head seamstress in a project to sew 19 entirely new Waltz of the Flowers costumes for Engage Dance Academy‘s productions of The Nutcracker. In that role, she learned a lot about designing costumes that were easy to move in, but also aesthetically beautiful. Emma Claire takes advantage of moments where she can learn new skills to better curate her artistic voice.
